  2. Love looking through your photos of Vietnam. Vietnam is a great place to go to over the summer. I always enjoy visiting Vietnam when I get a chance to go there. Great guide and tips!

  3. My fiance surprised and booked plane tickets to Hanoi this fall but we have no clue where to stay. He knew I wanted to visit Vietnam for quite some time and now I’m the one in charge of booking a hotel and finding cool, less known places to explore #cantwait

  4. I can’t not believe these pictures. They are not photo shopped right? I’ve never seen a place with such beautiful colors. I want to go so bad!

  5. I’ve visited every continent except for Asia but lately I feel like everyone is either visiting Thailand or Vietnam. I have to admit I tend to go for Vietnam as far as nature, culture or history, now I just have to figure out when and where.

  6. What a beautiful country Vietnam is! Some friends have visited it last year and the pictures and videos they took are breathtaking. After seeing them I placed Vietnam in my top 3 places to visit in the next 2-3 years alongside New Zealand and Portugal. My friends also said Vietnamese people are also some of the warm and hospitable people they’ve encountered, and just as you said, they are always open to new cultures while protecting their own. And let’s not even start to talk about the food which looks yummy and was (from what I’ve heard) very, very good.

    • Did they visit Halong Bay? It’s such a wonderful place to see and experience. I’ve spent a few days there and I think I would have needed a few weeks to see everything. The caves and the mesmerizing birdsongs are amazing!

      • Unfortunately, they didn’t :(. They said they will next time though. But, they did visit Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Hoi An among others. They loved Hoi An as they are a fan of anything wooden and there were plenty of interesting houses to see. They’re architects so this was one of the first places they went to and they’ve loved it very much (with hundreds of photos to prove it). Hanoi was also in their top 3 places to visit while in Vietnam, where they liked the Temple of Literature the most.

        • That’s a shame but I know time is limited and you have to choose. God knows there are so many interesting places to visit in Vietnam. Thanks for the reply and make sure you visit Halong Bay when you go there, you’ll love it.

          • I’m currently picking the places we should visit on our first trip to Vietnam in the next few months, and was wondering how you would rank Hanoi, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta and Halong Bay? There’s no time to visit all of them (maybe just 3) so any help is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
